The Pullman Albert Park

Pullman Albert Park has been chosen as the location for the conference. Located in the bay side suburb of Albert Park, The Pullman offers accommodation, a variety of conference facilities and fine food with an accredited Covid19 safety plan.

ROOM ALLOCATION

Rooms at both the Mercure and the Pullman are being held by the hotel but will begin being released by the hotel 20/2/2023 so registrants are encouraged to book their room early.

Reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be based on availability at the hotel’s prevailing rates so registrants are encouraged to book their room early to ensure they can access the conference rate and conditions

Room Rates are for 1-2 People

Pullman Classic Guest Room$220 Room Only, per night
Mercure Standard Guest Room$180 Room Only, per night
Buffet Breakfast

$25 per person, per day and must be booked at time of reservation. Breakfasts booked on site are charged at $38 per person

NOTE: Breakfast is also provided by the Conference on both days. Thursday at 8:15am in the Lecture Theatre and a stand-up event in the Exhibition Space 8:00am Friday

  • Rates are based on single and/or twin occupancy
  • The above rates are quoted on a per room, per night basis, and include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). All room rates quoted are subject to adjustment without prior notice in line with any changes in government policy.
  • The above rate is valid for pre or post stays of up to 2 days (subject to availability)
  • All credit card payments are subject to a 1.1% surcharge

Location and Climate

The Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park is ideally located on Queens Road overlooking Albert Park Lake and the renowned Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix track. The hotel is in close proximity to the Melbourne CBD and vibrant St Kilda giving guests access to an array of dining and leisure options. The Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park is also one of Melbourne's largest conference and events centres, featuring 31 function rooms catering for up to 1600 guests.

The Time Zone for Melbourne at the time of the conference is Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) (ZE+10)

Melbourne has a reputation for its changeable weather. In May the average daily maximum temperature is around 17°C and the average nightly minimum temperature is around 10°C. A tip for any visitor is to be prepared for anything – take an umbrella and wear layers that can be worn or removed as needed.

Terms and Conditions

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference registration address.

Cancellations received:

On or before 30/3/2023 will incur a $100 cancellation fee
After 30/3/2023 will receive 50% refund of registration fee

There will be no refund for cancellations after 1/5/2023

 

INSURANCE

The Conference Organisers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates. It is recommended that at the time of registration you take out appropriate insurance to cover any such losses as well as loss of fees, deposits, airfares etc through cancellation or any other cause. In the event of industrial disruptions, the Conference Organisers cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred by delegates. The Conference Organisers accept no responsibility for any claims concerning health or travel insurance.

Our conference is being held on the lands of the Bunurong people and we wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Owners.
